Player Development Instructor, The First Tee of Greater Richmond
At The First Tee of Greater Richmond Sterling oversees the Player Development Academy at both the Tattersall Youth Development Center and The Elson Redmond Memorial Driving Range. As a graduated participant of First Tee programming, he has become a PLAYer for life and has coached life skills classes for five years. Sterling graduated from Old Dominion University in 2018 and played on the club golf team for all four years. He coached a local high school team for three years during college, too. He is a First Tee PLAYer certified and certified in Operation 36.
Sterling offers individual lessons, group lessons, and corporate clinics for all ages and skill levels.
1-hour private lessons
Single Lesson – $45
Three Lessons – $120
Five Lessons – $200
1-hour group lesson with group of 3-5 adults
$25 per person.
*Note: there must be 3-5 individuals committed to the group lesson for it to take place.
30-minute private lessons
Single Lesson – $20
Three Lessons – $50
Five Lessons – $85
Junior Group Lessons
45-minute group lesson with group of 3-5 juniors
$15 per junior
*Note: there must be 3-5 juniors committed to the group lesson for it to take place.
Beginner Golfer Bootcamp
3 and a half hour beginner golfer bootcamp with a group of 4-8 individuals that teaches putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing techniques and gives course play opportunities.
$45 per individual
*Note: there must be 4-8 individuals committed to the bootcamp for it to take place.
